A few weeks ago, CISV Fredericton hosted a minicamp called
“Doris Al-Land”, a play on the words Doris Allen. It was a great success! We focused on the theme of World Issues and
planned activities that focused on current events.
The staff had a great time planning! We decided to create a promotional video to
try and get more interest in our camp, and it worked really well. JB Iceland saw our video and challenged us to
a craziest/silliest faceoff.
A lot of new delegates as well as past CISVers attended the
“Doris Al-Land” minicamp. We did many
energizers, like the Pony Song and Purple soup, and did activities like Mango
Alias and listened to a RadioLab podcast.
We are really looking for forward to our next activity, this
past minicamp has got everyone excited about CISV!
