Here's to meeting the first half of our outstanding Development Committee Coordinators, Tarra Joshi!
What is your position?
I’m half of the Development Committee Coordinator.
What are you most excited for?
I am so excited to get to meet and
interact with JBers all across Canada, as well as to help bring their creative
project ideas to life. I really enjoyed being DCC last year, and I can’t wait
to get started on working with my amazing co-DCC Zach Hall.
What would I find in your refrigerator
right now?
You would probably find a half eaten bag
of baby carrots, some left over Chinese food, and some baby bell cheese.
If someone wrote a biography about you,
what do you think the title should be?
Not afraid of anything-except for seals;
the true story of Tarra Joshi
What inspires you and why?
Being at large CISV events with JBers
such as NBM, SBTF or even an international camp. I am always amazed at how much
everyone has to offer, and the stories they can share. I always come back from
a CISV experience more motivated, inspired and re-energized. If there are all
these people across Canada and around the world that are so spectacular and special
in everything they can do, I must be able to get out of bed in the morning
right?
If you were a dog, what breed would you
be?
I would be a dachshund (wiener dog). I
have one at home in Vancouver and we are a little bit too similar. We both need
LOTS of attention, loves naps, and have lots of energy when we are awake. We
are also both very stubborn but love the company of others!
