Meet our Sr NJR, Dow!

In terms of CISV international experience I have participated in a Step Up to Norway, JC to Colombia, Jr. Leader to Spain, Seminar Camp to New Zealand. AJBM, IJBC, and AIM in France. Nationally, I have participated in two National Camps, 7 Spring Board Training Forums and NBMs, and one Spring Board Meeting. I have been the Junior Branch Development Committee Chair, Jr. NJR and now Sr. NJR! Locally I started off as Jr. LJR back in 2007 and moved up to Sr. the following year. Over the years I took care of Merchandise and JB Bonding as well.

Looking further into the position of Sr. NJR and what this year will bring. Being an NJR to me really means that I get the pleasure to work for the best bosses ever. This year I'm excited to see our JBDC take off and promote all their many projects and new adventures. I know this might sound really strange, but I am actually incredibly excited about next years NBM and sitting on the adult board. I love that aspect of being Sr. NJR and am really looking forward to showcasing juniors in the best way possible.

Fun Facts:
  1. I have stood in 10 different countries this year (I include Canada... it's a country) These countries include: Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Samoa, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, and France.
  2. I speak two languages fluently, one at a high school level, and another at an elementary level. These languages include in order of capability: English(debatable), French, Spanish, and Italian.
  3. The only thing that will genuinely cure a bad mood or illness for me is my dog Jake. He saves my day, every day.
  4. I have a thing for nice spreadsheets. Excel is my playground *NERD ALERT!*
