We just heard from Calgary!
Hey JBers!
From all of us in Calgary, we hope you had a great holiday season, that you got some unbelievable deals on boxing day, and that you are enjoying your winter break.
We are very excited to get going in the new year. For the upcoming year, our chapter is hoping to get more involved with our community! We are looking into opportunities to volunteer with like minded organizations. As well as projects that we can do as a mosaic!

Meet Julia Schultz, this years National Camp Coordinator!
I have been involved in CISV since I was eleven when I went to my Village in Florence in 2005. Since then I have been fortunate enough to participate in a wide range of CISV activities, from a IYM in Poland, to the very first Peacebus Westbound. I have also been lucky to go to three national camps, which have fostered in me such a love for the program, that I wanted to help make that experience for others. So, that’s why I’m here! I am CISV Canada’s 2013 National Camp Coordinator! I am thrilled to be hosting national camp this year, mostly because I can’t wait to meet all my future nat-camp friends and see all the amazing, creative and innovative activities they will plan. I hope, as National Camp Coordinator I can make National Camp fun, safe, exciting and chock full of fantastic peace education. Here are four fun facts about me:
1) I have 12 toes.
2) I am the appointed Canadian representative to Lichtenstein, Germany.
3) 1 and 2 were lies.
4) Last week I went to the Of Monsters and Men concert and MET THE BAND (This ones all truth!)

London's first Canuck update!
The weekend of December 8, 2012, the London chapter started their annual camp selections activities! JB members played CLASSIC games such as "the mickey mouse game" and "life boat"! Fun was had by all and we look forward to seeing everyone again next weekend!

Meet the CommSquad!
It's time to meet us! We're the Communications Chairs, Mercedes and David.
This is Mercedes:
This is Mercedes:
She's the one dressed up as a vegetable, because that's all she eats. She's the external communication chair, which means she's responsable for connecting JB Canada with other JB's around the world, and spreading the CISV Message with non-CISVers everywhere.
This is David:
He's got gummy worms on his glasses, because that's all he eats. He's the internal communications chair, and he's dealing with getting communication going in between the chapters and people in CISV Canada, as well as providing a link between Everybody and the Eh Team. So if you've got a problem you want to raise, he's your man.
You can contact both of us at jbcommsquad@ca.cisv.org
That's us!
